Local Fishing

Fishing in the immediate and surrounding area is second to none!
There is an enormous Large Mouth Bass population and plenty of Small
Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Crappy,
Bowfin (Dog fish)
and millions of pan fish to name a few.
Dog lake is also known for its Lake Trout fishing.
This area attracts serious
fishermen from far and wide.

year, opening day of pike is May 14th and opening day of bass is
June 25th, 2011.
